Calling all copycats.

 

How come everybody wants to be an art director or designer these days? We talk to tons of students each week and seems like right now copywriting just ain’t it.

Ummm, what? You guyz, writing is fuckin’ rad. Imagine it’s your job is to sit around all day and write the silliest, craziest stuff you can imagine. Billboard headlines, tv commercials, social posts, and a million other things. Sometimes you write funny things, or epic things, or serious things that change people’s minds or make them cry. All while your art director partner is spiraling as they try to figure out how to fix the kerning or whatever on some stupid font when all of a sudden photoshop freezes up harder than an uncooked Totino’s pizza roll.

It’s time for copywriting to have a moment and ad agencies agree, too. Our agency partners are always practically begging us for more copywriters, so we wanna step it up and try to help ‘em fulfill those copy cravings.
